Legendary comedian and actress Carol Burnett recently celebrated her 90th birthday with a two-hour special, "Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love".
The star-studded event was held in March at the Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles and featured appearances from A-list friends and colleagues,
Reflecting on the celebration in an exclusive interview with ET's Nischelle Turner, Burnett expressed her gratitude and touched upon the joyous moments that made the event so special.
She stated that she didn't want a typical birthday bash with a cake and confetti, but instead wanted a variety show with live entertainment, music, and comedy.
She also appreciated the surprise celebrity appearances from the likes of President Joe Biden, Oprah, Steve Martin, Marty Short, Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, and Dolly Parton.
Burnett also recalled several highlights from the celebration, including performances from Bernadette Peters and Kristin Chenoweth
