In a new interview, Julianne admitted that when she was initially offered a job as a professional dancer, she turned it down and openly explains why.

While appearing on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, Julianne  Kelly shared her argument.

"Because I was like, 'You know, I want to be a respected actress and singer.I don't want to be on a competitive show, you know, dance," she said.

I thought, you know, that's what I want to do. It's my path, and then I thought it might be good that I could do it as a part-time job.

Julianne was only 18 when she was offered the show.     After that initial rejection, she eventually joined the program and called it a life-changing decision.

“It was so wild. I mean, like overnight, I  just graduated from high school and then I got into show business.

Julianne won the Facetball Cup twice: in season 4 with Apolo Anton Ohno (rookie season),  then in season 5 with Helio Castroneves.
