The Miami Heat and the New York Knicks meet Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Before the game, both teams released their injury reports (updated at 11:30 a.m. EST).     The Heat ruled out Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo.

Bam Adebayo and Cody Zeller are available.  Meanwhile, the Knicks will be without Jericho Sims while Quentin Grimes and Julius Randle are listed as questionable.

Randle is averaging 25.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game in the regular season, so his availability for the series is important.

The Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks (who were the top seeds) in the first round in five games.

Miami Heat And New York Knicks Injury Reports

Despite being eighth, they have one of the best teams in the league.  The player franchise has reached the Conference Finals in two of the previous three seasons (and reached the NBA Finals in 2020).

The Knicks beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round (also in five games).  They are in the playoffs for the second time in three seasons but have won their first playoff series since 2013.

After Games 1 and 2, the series heads to Miami for Games 3 and 4.
